Come and find out about the evolution of birds from dinosaurs!
Travis Park is a PHD candidate in the Paleontology department at Monash University. He has studied several giant birds from Victoria’s distant past and is passionate about the origin our feathered friends.
This is a public lecture aimed at families and students from year five onwards.

National Bird Week 2014 takes place between Monday 20 October and Sunday 26 October.
As part of Bird Week celebrations in Melton, daily events are scheduled to take place in Melton, jointly presented by Melton City Council and Melton Environment Group.

National Bird Week 2015 takes place between Saturday 17 October and Saturday 24 October.
On Saturday 17th October Melton Environment Group's Bird Week in Melton will be officially opened at the Melton Libray by Melton Mayor Sophie Ramsey.
