On Saturday 20th July MEG hosted a bird walk in Toolern Regional Park. The morning was cold & grey but Geraldine, Brian, Nora & Daryl of MEG braved the bleak weather. Despite the weather Nora predicted that prospects of seeing birds were good; as after two days of wet, stormy weather, the birds may take advantage of the fine morning to come out for a feed.

Nora’s observation proved correct as we saw a total of 21 bird species in the short time we were there (out of the total of 71 bird species recorded here.
